The status of an individual's mental health governs overall health, along with every other aspect of an individual's life; professionally, personally and/or socially. The state of mental health can be altered temporarily or long-term by a myriad of reasons.
To empower women and women veterans in the community helping them realize they are MORE THAN their traumatic experiences. Our ultimate goal is inspiring women to know their worth is not attached to the effects of their past experiences (i.e. abuse, trauma); and create an atmosphere of mutual support to act as a catalyst to healing.
Public Speaking 201
The words "public speaking" cause fear and anxiety in the minds of otherwise competent and confident people. Does the thought of speaking in front of a group evoke fear, make you sweat, and get your heart pounding? It's likely you have glossophobia ~ the fear of public speaking.
Glossophobia is one of the most common of fears. There are many ways to increase brand and/or business exposure so why bother to overcome your speaking jitters? Stepping up to the podium not only positions you as an expert in your field but it also provides effortless referrals and improved sales, collaborative, partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
Presenting a non-sales informative speech warms up your audience and builds trust. The audience you present to and follow up with are more receptive to listening to your offering of products and services, as well as, supporting your brand, mission or vision.
Now that you received the fundamentals of public speaking...its time to implement what you've learned. Missed the first workshop? Reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the materials to prepare for Public Speaking 201 ~ Putting it into Action! Are you ready to CONFRONT your fear of public speaking? Join us and CRUSH your fear!
Acute mental illness is common in the church, just as it is common in the rest of society. Church leaders want to help those affected by mental illness. But pastors need more guidance and preparation for dealing with mental-health crises. They often don’t have a plan to help families affected by mental illness, or to provide ongoing spiritual care to church members who have a mental illness.
Come out and join us as we provide tangible tools to identify mental illness, along with resources to help the Pastoral leaders and their respective ministerial staff, care for their congregation that battle with mental illness.
